About me
Hi, I’m Susie, a product designer based in Los Angeles with roots in anthropology and interaction design, blending empathy, systems thinking, and creative problem-solving to design experiences that scale with clarity, purpose, and impact.
My approach is shaped by a lifelong curiosity about how people think, behave, and make decisions, and by early hands-on experience in healthcare, where I learned the power of observation, trust, and service.
I design for scale—whether it’s simplifying complex platforms, streamlining workflows, or building systems that drive usability, consistency, and meaningful impact. I thrive in cross-functional teams, translating research into product strategy and strategy into thoughtful, scalable solutions that serve users and businesses.
Beyond the screen:
Before design, I was on a pre-med track at UCLA, where my curiosity about people and care led me to hands-on experiences in healthcare—including volunteering at the Venice Family Clinic, participating in Care Extenders at UCLA, and joining a medical mission in Nicaragua, where I supported local communities and shadowed physicians in underserved areas. I even contributed to a research lab, meticulously dissecting Drosophila lymph nodes for a scientific publication. (Yes—tiny fruit fly lymph nodes.)
I also love building community. I’ve co-organized two hackathons at ArtCenter College of Design with my colleague Dillon—bringing students and creatives together to solve meaningful challenges.

About Me
Systems-driven, human-centered, and endlessly curious.

A Few Things That Fuel Me:
A fascination with culture, behavior, and the ways people move through the world.
A love for adventure—especially wandering through old streets layered with history and story.
A constant curiosity about how teams, tools, and processes evolve—and how we can design better ways of working together.
I’m deeply close with my family, who keep me grounded, inspired, and always remind me of what really matters.
A maker’s mindset. When I’m not designing, I’m often painting, candle making, baking, or deep in a coffee obsession. I also once worked on blockbuster movie campaigns in Hollywood—a wild, creative chapter that still shapes how I think about storytelling and craft.
